A New Look
Submitted by Headwater Investment Consulting on October 6th, 2015By CB Mason
As we fall in to the autumn season, we are embracing change. Not only are the leaves turning a glorious array of fall colors, but how you view your portfolio has transformed too! Both our website and your statement from Fidelity have experienced renovations. Here are some highlights of the updates:
Our Website
We have updated our website to be responsive, so your experience navigating our pages is more seamless no matter what type of device you use to browse – a computer, a tablet, a phone. Spend some time getting familiar with our new website - we hope you will like it!
In the Client Center, you will find:
- Links to access your quarterly e-Statements, log into your Fidelity account, and upload files via ShareFile under Client Log Ins;
- Updated Investment Outlook reports for our analysis of the economy and financial markets;
- The most recent Topic Paper and a selection of previous Topic Papers;
- And important Client Notices, including our annual notice.
Furthermore, our blog can now be accessed directly from the main menu. You can continue to search for keywords or category tags. And at the bottom of the screen, you can Share our website with your family or friends. The highest compliment is a referral from an existing client!
Fidelity Statement
The enhanced statement is a result of customer and advisor feedback to improve the presentation of your accounts held at Fidelity Investments.
Besides the change in the “look” of the statement, you will also find the following changes:
- If you have more than one account aggregated into one statement, your Account Summary section will include a sub-section titled “Accounts included in this report” that will display a table of contents that includes each account, a high-level account summary, and the specific page on which the details of each account begins.
- Next will be both a summary of income earned and realized gain/loss from sales in the current statement period and year-to-date, aggregated across all accounts in your household.
- Top Holdings provides a list of your top 10 holdings across all accounts in the household.
- Account detail pages include a summary overview, cash flow summary, income summary, realized gains/losses, and top holdings at the account level, followed by holdings and activities.
If you have questions about the updates or would like us to walk you through how to read your improved Fidelity statements, please give us a call or schedule an appointment.
