Annual Notification from Fidelity Investments
Submitted by Headwater Investment Consulting on August 10th, 2016By CB Mason
As part of Fidelity’s money movement process controls, you will receive up to two notifications from Fidelity. This first, to be sent out this week, is to confirm the current asset movement authorization (AMA). And if you have a bank account linked to your Fidelity account, you can then expect to receive a notification the week of August 22nd pertaining to Standing Instructions on your accounts. Accounts opened within 60 days of the mailing will not be included until the next annual mailing.
- The Annual AMA Notification lists who has Asset Movement Authority on the account – you will see our firm listed here.
- The Annual Standing Instruction Letter Notification defines what activity can be completed on behalf of your account. A document will be created for each account but consolidated into a single envelope (if you receive hard copy mailings) or email (if you have opted for eDelivery) as much as possible.
Both of these notifications are for your information and no action is necessary unless a change is needed. What changes might be needed? If you have changed banks, we should make sure that your correct bank account is linked and the old account is removed from the standing instructions.
